Description:
1.1 This cylindrical battery tester testing system is used for pre-charging activation of lithium battery and capacity sorting of finished battery. It is mainly composed of computer system and control software, communication interface, and battery testing cabinet.
The battery testing cabinet consists of clamps, constant current and voltage charging source, constant current discharging source, registration control circuit, current sampling circuit, voltage sampling circuit, main control CPU, data storage system, microcontroller(MCU) program, and control panel,ventilation system.
1.2 Operation procedure: the battery clamps symmetrically placed on equipment, before loading, adjust the width of the clamps, manually insert the battery cells into the clamps. The formation or capacity grading process sent by computer or control panel, then start the equipment, then testing is completed, the data can be sent to EXCEL, ACCESS, WORD files, and exported to the database system.
1.3 Basic parameters: the equipment has 512 channels testing clamps and detection software. The main body is a double-sided structure, which is divided into a front panel and a rear panel. There are a total of four panels in the front and back, each panel is equipped with 8 rows of clamps, and each row of clamps has 16 testing points; the whole equipment has a total of 512 points. The detection point at the bottom row is 30cm above the ground, the detection point at the top row is 160cm above the ground, the distance between two clamps is 3.5cm, and the height of the four supports is 10cm.
1.3.1 There are power switch, control panel, and clamps on the front side
1) Power Switch: The main power switch of the equipment
2) Control Panel: It has a 16-bit digital tube and 17 keys, which are used to input control commands, display working time, voltage.
3) There are 8 rows of clamps in the front, each row is called a group, 1 to 8 groups from top to bottom, separate each groups into 4 small groups, 1 to 4 small groups from left to right. Each small group has 8 workstations (8 clamps). we named it 1 to 8 stations from left to right. For convenience, each station is numbered, such as the "0148" station, which refers to the eighth station in the fourth small group of the first group.
1.3.2 There are control panels and clamps on the back side.

At the same time, the MCU continues to compare working time or -ΔV, determine whether the termination condition is reached. If it is reached, the work of this step is ended and the work of the next step is entered. After all the steps are completed, the host computer reads the data from the microcontroller through Ethernet and then performs the capacity grading and data processing. The microcomputer can control up to 15 sets battery test cabinets. The test cabinet can be controlled online or stand-alone.
The battery testing cabinet has a modular structure and is easy to maintain. The system components have a modular structure, a menu-type operating environment, and use mouse operation to maximize user convenience. The host computer displays the current, voltage, time, capacity, and other measurement data of the specified cabinet in real-time, and the user can observe the battery charge and discharge curve and performance parameters at any time. All measurement data can be completely stored in the hard disk and can be consulted and retrieved by the user at any time. The charge and discharge curve of the battery can be enlarged, reduced, and overlapped to observe the battery's performance. Users can print statistics, reports, and curves at any time.
Note: After the battery is placed before the whole cabinet starts to work, you must press the keypad and click "9" to inspect the battery to ensure that the battery is in good contact; if the contact is poor or the battery reverse connection indicator light is on.
