Oil seal mute Ceramic Planetary Ball Mill has four ball grinding tanks installed on one turntable. When the turntable rotates, the tank axis makes planetary movements. The balls and samples inside the jars are impacted strongly in high-speed movement, and samples are eventually ground into powder. And these Alumina Ceramic Jars are used whenever small quantity of samples need to be grinded.

Product Description:

Planetary Ball Mill With Ceramic Jar For Lab

Description:

Oil seal mute planetary ball mill has small volume, comprehensive function, high efficiency, and low noise which is the ideal device for obtaining micro-particle research samples used for research and development institutes, colleges and universities, and entire laboratories. The samples could be ground under vacuum state using the vacuum ball mill jars. According to the processing requirement set the rotation speed and alternate time of forward and reversal rotation and set the total grinding time.

In order to prevent excessive abrasion, the hardness of the grinding jars used and of the grinding balls must be higher than that of the material used. Normally, grinding jars and grinding balls of the same material should be chosen.

FAQ

1. What is ceramic planetary ball mill?

A. A ceramic planetary ball mill is a type of grinding mill that utilizes ceramic jars and ceramic balls for milling and grinding applications. It operates on the principles of impact and attrition, where the grinding balls in the jars are subjected to high-energy collisions with the sample material, resulting in the reduction of particle size.

B. The planetary ball mill design includes multiple grinding stations arranged on a planetary disk. Each grinding station consists of a jar filled with the sample material and grinding balls. As the planetary disk rotates, the jars revolve around their axes, simultaneously rotating in the opposite direction around the center of the disk. This dual rotation motion creates a strong centrifugal force, causing the grinding balls to impact and grind the material within the jars.

C. Ceramic planetary ball mills are known for their high grinding efficiency, uniform particle size distribution, and precise control over the grinding process parameters such as speed, time, and rotational direction. They are widely used in various fields, including materials science, chemistry, ceramics, electronics, and pharmaceuticals, for research and development, quality control, and production-scale grinding applications.

2.Battery planetary ball mill process

The process of the battery planetary ball mill is described as follows: the battery material is placed in the ball mill tank, after starting the machine, the ball mill tank rotates at the same time of revolution, so that the mill ball colliding with each other in high-speed movement, impacting and grinding the material to achieve the purpose of refining the material. This process is suitable for fine grinding and mixing of battery materials, which can effectively improve the uniformity and granularity of the material, and is a key step in the preparation of battery materials.

3.The role of battery planetary ball mill

The role of the battery planetary ball mill is to efficiently refine and evenly mix the battery material, and achieve fine grinding of the material, improve the specific surface area of the material, and optimize the performance of the battery through the unique movement mode combined with revolution and rotation. At the same time, it can also promote the chemical reaction between materials, shorten the preparation cycle, and is an indispensable key equipment in the field of battery research and development and production.
